DEDUCTIBLE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED REPAIRS

Deductible Assistance

Deductible assistance can help reduce the out-of-pocket cost of getting your vehicle repaired after a covered hail or collision claim. David’s Hail & Collision Repair offers up to $500 in deductible assistance on qualifying repairscompleted at our Englewood, Colorado facility.

If your repair qualifies, our program can reduce the amount you’re responsible for paying toward your applicable insurance deductible. Eligibility depends on the vehicle damage, insurance claim, repair scope, and program requirements.

Schedule Your Free Inspection & Check Eligibility

Up to $500 Toward Your Insurance Deductible

When you file a covered auto insurance claim, your policy may require you to pay a deductible toward the repair.

For example, if your policy has a $500 deductible, you would generally be responsible for that portion of a covered repair according to the terms of your policy.

David’s offers eligible customers up to $500 toward their deductible when completing a qualifying insurance-approved hail or collision repair with us.

The assistance is applied toward the qualifying repair. It has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Not every repair qualifies, and the amount available can vary. Our team will evaluate your repair and explain your eligibility before qualifying work is completed.

How Our Deductible Assistance Program Works

We’ve made the process straightforward.

1. Schedule a Free Vehicle Inspection

Bring your vehicle to David’s Hail & Collision Repair so we can evaluate the hail or collision damage.

If you’ve already filed an insurance claim, bring your claim information and insurance estimate if available.

2. We Review the Damage

Our team evaluates the vehicle damage, insurance estimate, and anticipated repair scope.

This allows us to determine both the appropriate repair plan and whether the repair meets the requirements of our assistance program.

3. We Confirm Your Eligibility

If your repair qualifies, we’ll explain how much assistance is available for your specific repair.

The maximum available under the program is $500.

4. We Work With Your Insurance Company

David’s also provides insurance claims assistance for hail and collision repair customers.

Our team can communicate with the insurance carrier regarding estimates, repair documentation, supplements, and other repair-related claim matters.

5. We Complete the Repair

Our ASE and I-CAR certified technicians complete the approved repairs using the appropriate methods for your vehicle and damage.

6. Your Approved Assistance Is Applied

The approved amount is applied toward your applicable deductible obligation for the qualifying repair, subject to the program terms.

Deductible Help for Hail Damage Repair

Colorado hailstorms can cause extensive vehicle damage in only a few minutes.

If your auto insurance policy includes applicable comprehensive coverage, qualifying hail damage may be covered subject to your policy terms, deductible, and the insurance company’s claim determination.

David’s program may be available for qualifying insured hail damage repairs, including vehicles repaired using Paintless Dent Repair.

Depending on the damage, hail repair may involve:

  • Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
  • Conventional auto body repair
  • Panel repair or replacement
  • Paint and refinishing
  • Trim or molding replacement
  • Glass-related repairs
  • A combination of repair methods

The appropriate repair method is always determined by what the vehicle actually needs—not by whether it qualifies for deductible help.

Deductible Help for Collision Repair

The program may also be available for qualifying collision repairs handled through an insurance claim.

Collision damage can range from a damaged bumper or fender to more extensive structural, mechanical, electronic, or safety-system damage.

Depending on the accident, repairs may include:

  • Bumper repair or replacement
  • Fender and body-panel repair
  • Door repair
  • Structural repair
  • Replacement components
  • Paint matching and refinishing
  • Mechanical repairs related to the collision
  • Diagnostic procedures
  • Sensor or camera calibration when required

Our technicians determine the appropriate repair plan first. Program eligibility is then evaluated based on the qualifying repair and applicable requirements.

Who Qualifies?

Every vehicle, insurance claim, and repair is different, so eligibility is determined individually.

Generally, qualifying repairs must meet requirements that include:

  • The vehicle has qualifying hail or collision damage
  • The repair is associated with a valid insurance claim
  • Applicable repairs are covered and approved under the claim
  • The repair meets David’s minimum qualifying repair requirements
  • The qualifying repair is completed by David’s Hail & Collision Repair
  • The customer is authorized to proceed with the insurance repair
  • The repair otherwise complies with the program terms

Minor repairs, limited cosmetic damage, customer-pay work, non-insurance repairs, or repairs that don’t meet program requirements may not qualify.

The easiest way to determine eligibility is to schedule a free vehicle inspection.

What If My Deductible Is $500?

If you have a $500 deductible and your repair qualifies for the maximum assistance available, the program may cover up to that $500 amount.

However, the maximum isn’t automatically applied to every repair.

Your eligibility and assistance amount depend on the individual repair and program requirements.

What If My Deductible Is Less Than $500?

Assistance cannot exceed your applicable deductible.

For example, if you have a $250 deductible and your qualifying repair is eligible for assistance covering that amount, you wouldn’t receive the remaining $250 of the program’s $500 maximum as cash or credit.

The program applies only toward the eligible deductible associated with the qualifying repair.

What If My Deductible Is More Than $500?

Having a higher deductible doesn’t automatically prevent you from qualifying.

For example, if your applicable deductible is $1,000 and your repair qualifies for the full $500 in assistance, you would generally remain responsible for the remaining applicable deductible amount.

Your actual responsibility depends on your insurance policy, claim, repair, and program eligibility.

Why Doesn’t Every Repair Qualify?

The program is designed for qualifying insured hail and collision repairs and isn’t simply a coupon applied to every service.

A vehicle with substantial insured hail damage requiring extensive PDR work is very different from a vehicle needing one small customer-pay dent repaired.

Similarly, a significant insured collision repair differs from a minor cosmetic repair.

That’s why we evaluate each vehicle and repair individually rather than promising the maximum assistance regardless of repair scope.

Insurance Claims and Deductibles

Our assistance program doesn’t change what your insurance company determines is covered under your policy.

The insurance carrier remains responsible for determining matters such as:

  • Coverage
  • Claim approval
  • Applicable deductible
  • Policy limits
  • Exclusions
  • Insurance payments
  • Supplemental approvals

David’s role is to inspect and repair the vehicle, document legitimate repair requirements, communicate with the insurance carrier when appropriate, and provide qualifying customers with assistance under our program.

If you’d rather not manage the repair-related insurance process yourself, our team can also provide Insurance Claims Assistance throughout the repair.

What If the Insurance Estimate Misses Damage?

An insurance company’s initial estimate doesn’t necessarily represent everything required to properly repair the vehicle.

Some damage may not be visible during the initial inspection.

With hail damage, specialized PDR lighting can reveal dents that are difficult to identify under normal lighting.

After a collision, removing damaged bumpers, panels, trim, or other components can reveal additional accident-related damage underneath.

When legitimate additional damage or necessary repair operations are identified, David’s can document them and submit a supplement to the insurance carrier for review.

The insurance company determines whether supplemental repairs are covered according to the policy and claim.

Does Deductible Assistance Affect Repair Quality?

No. Eligibility for the program doesn’t determine how we repair your vehicle.

Our technicians evaluate the damage and develop the repair plan based on what the vehicle needs.

For hail damage, that may mean Paintless Dent Repair wherever appropriate and conventional body repair where PDR isn’t suitable.

For collision damage, repairs may involve bodywork, structural repairs, replacement components, refinishing, diagnostics, calibrations, or other necessary procedures.

The goal remains the same: properly repair the covered damage included in the repair plan.

Deductible Assistance FAQs

Do I still have to pay anything out of pocket?2026-05-05T15:25:06-06:00

If your deductible is $500 or less, you may owe nothing out of pocket on qualifying repairs. If your deductible is higher than $500, you would be responsible for the difference. We’ll be upfront about your exact costs before any work begins.

Will using deductible assistance affect my insurance claim or coverage?2026-05-05T15:24:41-06:00

No. Our deductible assistance program does not alter your claim, inflate estimates, or affect your coverage in any way. It is simply a discount we offer qualifying customers.

Is deductible assistance legal in Colorado?2026-05-05T15:24:23-06:00

Yes, when done correctly and in compliance with Colorado insurance laws. David’s Hail & Collision operates fully within state regulations. We never engage in fraud or misrepresent repair costs to your insurer.

Who qualifies for deductible assistance?2026-05-05T15:24:05-06:00

What is deductible assistance and how does it work?2026-05-05T15:23:45-06:00
